EEX welcomes PCK Raffinerie GmbH as new generation data provider: On 2 January, PCK Raffinerie GmbH has started to provide generation data to the platform “Transparency in Energy Markets“. After VW and BASF, PCK is the third industrial power plant operator which publishes data on the transparency platform, after BASF the second operator which has followed EEX’s call to report data for transparency purposes and the first company which provides data for the voluntary section.

PCK Raffinerie GmbH operates conventional power plants with a total installed capacity of 234 MW. The data coverage rate of the transparency platform for Germany increases for the statutory section from 93.31 to 93.53 per cent and for the voluntary section from 42.01 to 42.24 per cent.
