2012/01/04Vattenfall Europe provides data for additional pumped storage units: Since 2 January, Vattenfall Europe AG reports voluntarily generation data for their pumped storage units Geesthacht (120 MW) and Hohenwarthe II (320 MW). The installed capacities for pumped storage and seasonal storage units in the German voluntary data section exceed 8,000 MW for the first time.
The data coverage rate of the voluntary section of Germany increases from 42.24 to 42.52 per cent. The data coverage rate of the voluntary section is calculated as ratio of the installed capacities reported to the platform and the sum of the effective installed capacity in German control areas.
