Deregistration of Power Plants (29/02/2012)
2012/03/01Deregistration of Power Plants: With effect from 1 March, RWE Power AG deregistered its power plant units Frimmersdorf I and K with a total volume of 264 MW on the transparency platform. Data for those power plant units are not available anymore since this day. Hence, EEX adjusted the reference value for the data coverage rate (new: 162,088.6 MW / old: 162,430.5 MW). This also takes into account corrections to the installed capacity of 78 MW in total.
The degree of coverage changes slightly in the statutory section from 94.73 to 94.75 per cent and for the voluntary section from 41.51 to 41.42 per cent for Germany. The data coverage is calculated as ratio of the installed capacities reported to the platform and the sum of the effective installed capacity in German control areas.
